As you know, Android M is the next version of our favorite operating system. Now we have announced what will be its new products and some of the devices updated. So far, 6.0 was the version number most ballots had to represent Android M. However, thanks to our colleagues at PhoneArena, today I can reveal what the true number of the next version of Android.
The number of software versions are indicative of the importance of the jump there is between them. And like moving from Gingerbread (2.3) to Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) meant very significant changes, it was not so much the passing of Jelly Bean (4.1) KitKat (4.4).
With the introduction of new updates, we always doubt the version number that will is. Although Google takes time leaving tracks. By looking a little when marking the Nexus that will carry the version submitted , we realize that commercial imagery they always indicate the version number. You can check it in this image.
However, since Google began publishing Developer Previews their next updates, has chosen to stop displaying the version of the operating system on the hour. Or at least has failed to do so explicitly.
Android developer mode, there is a demo mode. So enabling this option, the notification bar is much more presentable (simulates the battery is full, the connections receive maximum coverage, clean notifications, etc). Turning the demo mode in the latest version of Android M Developer Preview, we find that the clock strikes 5:20, agreeing with what would be the number of the next version of Android.
Although far are mere speculations, the precedents of Google can make us confirm that the next version of Android will be 5.2.
And you, what do you think will be the next version Android?
