Cortana, Microsoft virtual assistant, comes to Android.
Since Monday, Cortana for Android is available in beta to all users who have a mobile phone or tablet with Android 4.0 or higher.
Android app Cortana works as a complement to what the virtual assistant provides Microsoft in computers and tablets with Windows 10 (or in cell), extending its functions and synchronizing information.
Cortana keep all your reminders synchronized through different devices and show you your flight information and news that may be of interest.
The Cortana app for Android has been available in private beta for a few months, but this new version allows Cortana accessed by pressing and holding the Home button – a way of replacing the shortcut you have to Google Now.
However, you will notice some differences between Windows and Cortana Cortana Android. For example, you can not activate Cortana say “Hello Cortana” (or Hey Cortana , in English), but you’ll have to press a button, and is available only in the US Moreover, as in the private beta, Cortana still does not work in Spanish so you have the interface of your phone in this language.
