Android announces it will not access mobile devices without … – Reuters

“Android is the mobile operating system most used in the world”

Newspapers The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal paths published on Thursday reports that the new Android will default to an encryption system to prevent the company, as well as potential thieves or police, unlock mobile devices if have personal password necessary.

This improvement in security protects the company itself (and therefore management ) any information that may be stored on the user devices operating with Android, such as photos, emails, contacts, call history, messages, written notes or multimedia content.

So far, phones and devices operating with Android encryption offered this possibility, but only as an option, so that very few users who found out how to activate it.

In the new operating systems, however, to be launched in October, the measure will default on.

With over 75% of the global smartphone market, Android is the mobile operating system most used in the world.
