However, the Asian country is the third largest smartphone market, behind China and the United States, and the sector is growing at 68% annually, compared to 2% of the Indian handset market in general.
The South Korean Samsung dominates the Indian market smartphones with 25.3%, followed by Micromax local company with 10%.
The Android One join the battle for the Indian market low cost after Mozilla announced this month an intelligent device with Firefox OS with a price of $ 33.
