Android L: so are the icons on the notification bar – Android Help

Android L will come sooner or later for smartphones and tablets that feature Google’s operating system. There are many new features that have to come and have not yet been announced, although the new version was filed months ago. One of the innovations have to do with the design change icons of the notification bar.

KitKat Android 4.4 and came with a major change as far as the icons on the toolbar regard. In fact, we take care to advance and the icons change color, forgetting the Blue Holo interface and becoming completely white. Well, they will also change the icons with the new version Android 5.0 Lollipop , it seems that this is finally as updates for the operating system call.

Android 5.0 Icons

We could All I know thanks to a video of the execution of a new test versions of Android and L that can be installed on some Nexus. In this video Chromium error was shown, but that’s not really important, but the change of icons that has been seen in this new version. The three icons you can see in the picture accompanying this article. And you detectaréis the first change in the WiFi icon, now the intensity level of the WiFi signal and not shown as a bar, but all the bars happen to be attached showing a lot of white circle. Hopefully the same will happen with the icon of the mobile network coverage, and forget the bars so that becomes a completely white polygon. Something similar happens with icons like the installed application, which appears in the upper left corner. Google seeks to simplify even more icons. Besides this, we can not forget that we also change the font, the new Roboto, which will make the clock numbers also changed, but not much.

This also helps us to realize that the final version of Android L could be very different from what has hitherto been seen in test versions already available for Nexus. It is clear that the base will be the same, but we could see very significant visual changes when you reach the new version.
