Android Preview 64-bit L – Andro4all

ART bits and 64

The first Android devices with support for 64-bit They are slowly coming to market, and they say in Android Authority have yet to arrive next year. According to the same website, Google has launched the emulator 64 bit version of the previous image Android Developer L, so that they can test their first 64-bit applications.

This pose is great news for those who want to extract maximum performance from their devices and apps . The list of benefits that Google has published along with this new emulator includes a larger number of records increased addressable memory and new sets instruction. They have also said that if an application is programmed using Java, then the code will automatically benefit from the new 64-bit architecture.

Glancing closer to this release out, this is a version with a Initial x86-based architecture, which leads us to believe that Intel has been working quite hard on Android so that Google grant them official support to their processors. According to Android Authority Intel could be the next to join the ARM family (as we advance in this blog), which would provide another competitor in the market for SoCs.

As developers can download the emulator image website for Android developers and start testing their 64-bit applications from now.

As for which means this for users walk , first mobile systems are put in terms of operability and calculating the level of traditional operating systems. Of course we will have to wait for Android L to see the first Android phone with support for 64-bit architectures running at full capacity, and secondly with the arrival of Google Nexus 6 not far (even if we assume Nexus the new terminal will take advantage of this technology), we should be able to have both Android L as a complete list of improvements concerning the 64 bits for Android devices before too long.

And what you think? What benefits do you think can make an Android version of the existing 64-bit ecosystem Leave us your opinions in the comments.
