At CES 2015, Hyundai will unveil its new central screen Display Audio integrating both Android Auto as Apple CarPlay, and is designed for your car low end.
Although Hyundai failed to include Apple CarPlay in their cars this year, the South Korean automaker is still hard promoting the integration with smartphones, and has promised to show his screen Display Audio board in January at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas. The unit designed for the more affordable models manufacturer, integrate both Android and Apple Auto CarPlay.
Both Android and Apple Auto CarPlay allows drivers to plug their phones into the USB port of the vehicle and then emulate navigation applications, audio and other on the LCD screen of the car. Users can use the touch screen or voice controls carriage to access apps, make calls or send text messages. The functions of vehicular integration of Apple and Android were announced this year.
The new Display Audio screen will give models the low-range of Hyundai an advantage over their rivals, because the screen Touch not only allow integration with smartphones , but also shows the standard stereo controls. Display Audio also incorporates the latest version of BlueLink telematics service Hyundai, which connects the car through 4G. Vehicle owners can use the app on your phone to open his car in the distance, turn the climate control and monitor maintenance needs. BlueLink also includes a function to retrieve the car when it is stolen.
The two notable absences from the Display Audio unit is a CD player and integrated navigation, although both are rendered obsolete by integration with smartphones .
