The blue double tilde Whatsapp finalmete can be disabled with the new application update. It will be in version 2.11.476 and for now only available for Android, but is expected soon to other operating systems.
For some time ago, the company’s most important mobile messaging World launched as a novelty the possibility of whether a sent message was read. This brought strong criticism from users saying that they felt part of their privacy was violated.
A few days later, the company promised in a future update could disable this feature. Finally, from today you can download the Play Store Android version that disables the infamous “read”.
How to disable
Simply download the update, go to the section settings, privacy and uncheck the “read receipt” option. Thus, when it is received or a message is sent, you will not know when it was opened.
