Traditionally we have seen that the Google Nexus have been the first to receive major Android updates. Devices from other manufacturers watched from a distance and a few months later, launched its new software. But things have changed a lot, so much so that the Nexus no longer pioneers .
Maybe a tolerated by Google to give image and motion passed on to other devices . The case of the LG G3 emerged over the weekend and is now the latest Motorola Moto X 2014 which begins to anticipate as the opponent of the G3 to be the first to receive Android 5.0
.
While it is true that our test unit (that we discussed in October) does not yet have the update, it appears that Motorola has already sent to appropriate agencies to certify that and give step. After this process, the following will make it available to the public, although there is no date for it should not take long to complete. In the final hours was leaked a ‘beta’ Lollipop for Moto X 2014 with all its features and some inherited from the Nexus 6 installed new version, though this is not the official and final upgrade and is prone to contain some bug or error.
It is certainly a remarkable fact that Google Android 5.0 has not released any of his Nexus , having been almost a month since its official launch. In fact, there is more information / rumors of the other Nexus devices.
This move makes little sense. Google has developed Android 5.0 and logic dictates that versions for Nexus dependent Mountain View, should be the first to emerge. One possibility is that they are ceding ground to other manufacturers to be the protagonists during these first weeks ‘launch’. The option that Google “has not had time ‘to make updates to the Nexus 4, 5, 7 and 10 is pretty pilgrim
The race to be the first is a reality, though pointless to many, happy and allows the market to develop a momentary debate. Within half a year no one will remember – or no one will care, rather – who was first, although the change is important: Nexus 6 is no longer the leader of the mid-range (in price) if not an expensive phone and exclusive, with a high price, and the first versions Lollipop come first for others rather than for Google itself. It seems something is changing in Android
