Office for iPhone, iPad, Android is now free – CNET Spanish

Microsoft announced that most of the features to edit and create new documents are now free for iOS users. Android apps are betas and the final version arrives in 2015.

Microsoft said Thursday that its Office 365 applications for iPhone, iPad and Android tablets are now free and can be used without be a subscriber to Office 365. The announcement, surprise, comes as a way to ensure that users continue using their office applications on mobile devices.

Recognized Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications are now available for iPhone and allow the app to Office Mobile side which included three applications. With the three apps available on the iPhone, users now have all the features that already existed in the iPad and be able to continue editing or creating a new document on the fly.

Office for iPhone was not built from scratch but Microsoft took into account what has been done with Office for iPad applications and adapted for smaller products apple screens. Applications are available in the App Store for today
