Viewing your data consumption in Android 5.0 Lollipop – CNET in Spanish

For several generations, Android has allowed you to better control your data usage on your cell phone, but Android 5.0 Lollipop makes it even easier.

As well know, there is total freedom of mobile Internet, unless you achieve pay more and get an unlimited data plan. – something that many operators have stopped offering Have you used more data you have your plan and your connection it gets slower? extra charge or just end up without mobile internet connection an unexpected day?


Fortunately, Lollipop Android 5.0 integrates a new feature that lets you keep track of the data you have used during the billing cycle easily.

  • Open the quick settings panel sliding your finger up and down twice or once sliding two fingers up and down.
  • Select the icon that represents the sign and name of your operator. Here you get a quick view of how much data you’ve consumed, the cycle is calculating cell phone, your carrier and would be alerting you when your consumption data itself so you have configured.
  • Select More Settings to get more details data set limits or when you want alerts for your data consumption. Also, you will see a chart with data consumption per month per each specific app. You can also view your data consumption with a Wi-Fi.

This feature of Android will allow you to better control your consumption data and may help you determine if an app determined that you are using the most data with only his background synchronization
