Where does cultural icon like Hello Kitty or the Rubik’s cube and starts advertising a brand? Google has decided to explore that boundary with a new collection of covers for Android Wear based on popular brands like Cynthia Rowley, Lulu Frost, Triwa, Bang & amp; Olufsen, Muji, Hello Kitty, Rubik or Kevin Tong.
On the one hand, it is somewhat disappointing that Android decides to continue selling the visible face of its operating system for SmartWatch a known fashion brands or technology. Moreover, it is perfectly normal to happen. In addition, the end is always the user who decides whether to install or not. We already have Angry Birds screensaver or Terminator Genisys. It was a matter of time before the SmartWatch find an equivalent space for advertising.
The 17 new covers or “faces” for Android Wear are now available on Google Play and are completely free except for the fashion brand Anrealage, and the cover of Namco Bandai Gundam. You have the entire collection here. [Google Play via 9to5 Google]
