Wear Android 2.0 might come on October 15 – Engadget

In recent months we have seen how most smart watches were launched in the market with Android Wear integrated. Even Sony has finished giving and moving to this platform in its just-unveiled SmartWatch 3.

The development of Google still has a long way to go, and may have very close to us launching Android Wear 2.0 . This is indicated in AndroidPolice, which cited unnamed sources who claim that the OTA update for these devices will be available on October 15

Among the possible improvements that could integrate next version of the platform for these devices is the Bluetooth headset support or the support of GPS receivers, though of course there may be more significant improvements waiting.

The arrival of the update makes more sense when you consider that this version of Android could debut Wear impending Motorola Moto 360 and LG G Watch R , two of the most anticipated devices of the segment by the use of a circular design and non-square
