Google helps you find your phone, so be it iOS or Android – CNET in Spanish

Google has a couple of new tools to help you locate your lost phone, regardless of whether your device is running iOS or Android operating system.

to locate your phone or tablet, just enter this link, sign and discover when was the last time you used the (or) phone (s) in which you logged. When choosing the phone, you can perform different actions such as closing session of Google, make a phone call, lock, delete information or, if the case of an iPhone, Google displays the link to iCloud.

Google said that in the near future will add a simpler way to find lost devices. From the search bar, you can enter “I lost my phone” and Google will display the location information of the device and possible actions.

Google showed this new role under the first anniversary of my account, section in which users have controls to manage your personal information and privacy settings.

to celebrate, Google said users can now say “Ok Google, show me My Account” in the latest version of the Google app and user information is displayed. Google says in the statement that this feature is only available in English but will soon be available in other languages.

Apple has its own tool to locate phones – but only locates branded devices. In iCloud, from a browser or from your phone, you can locate phones, tablets, computers and even friends and family with an apple device.
