The Twitter app for Android debuts from this week an interface dark the company calls night mode or night mode for users with English configuration.

This mode can be activated from the left sidebar, which can be invoked by swiping from left to right from the edge . left of the screen there appears the new button to turn on – or off -.. this setting

the setting is under Profile, Featured, Lists, Connect and Twitter Ads If you do not yet appear this option, make sure you have the latest version of Twitter for Android. activating this mode, the interface changes from white to pale-blue, to an interface in which a dark blue with light blue predominates.

A Twitter spokesperson told CNET in Spanish: “We are trying the night mode on Android with a small group of people, and we hope that the function reaches all Android users very soon.”

The application of Twitter for iOS does not yet include this option, but that’s not something strange, because in iOS applications do not have the option Night mode (or dark) and many they do in Android, but is rather a constraint on the system. iOS 10 may change that for the Apple platform.

A few weeks ago, Twitter launched a new design for application of Android, with many of these related to Google Material Design changes. a floating button is also placed in the bottom right to compose a new tweet.
