It was just this year 2014 and there are many news which is expected in early next year , which is only a few days to arrive. Multitude of brands take advantage of the beginning of the year to launch new models or updates , and coincide the CES in Las Vegas in the first days of January. Samsung will surely be one of them, and last week there was talk that earlier this year would begin to update multiple models Korean brand to version Android 5.0 Lollipop .
Now comes information through Danny Dorrestejin , founder of SamMobile (reliable source when it comes to leaked information from Samsung) in which says that the owners of the model Galaxy Note Edge will receive the upgrade to Lollipop from next month February . He adds that the thinnest model of the brand, the Galaxy Alpha , expected to be updated to this version of Android in the first quarter of 2015, suggesting it’s probably for the month March .
This information, although coming from a tweet from Danny Dorrestejin and is very reliable, has not yet been confirmed by Samsung . However, just two days ago, IBTimes reported that Samsung had officially confirmed that the upgrade to Android Lollipop for models Galaxy Note 4 , Galaxy S5 LTE -A , Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 arrive in early 2015. Although the journalist did not confirm nor the exact timing, nor the countries in which it would be about to receive the update.
Therefore, we must wait to see if Samsung confirmed these dates that arrive updates to models more potent Korean brand. So if that is true, is that currently the only model has received the update Android 5.0 Lollipop is the Galaxy S5 , but apparently this is currently only released in Europe and Asia.
