Updating your LG G3 Android 5.0 Lollipop – Andro4all

LG G3 with Lollipop

Ay, Lollipop, when you get to my phone? That is the question that all Android users are doing right now, checking every day version of software to see if that update has arrived to their devices. Although there are some that have already reached him this new version, many others do not, and today we will learn how to update our LG G3 Android 5.0 Lollipop .

Obviously, as we all know, Lollipop has not yet emerged in many parts of the world officially, but there have been some releases in countries like Italy, Germany and Poland. The developer community has created the first ROM’s with Android 5.0 Lollipop , and install it on our terminals is as easy as fast .

The first thing we need to do is rootear our LG G3 . To do this, you can follow this tutorial that wrote our fellow Rooting and get root access will allow us to take the next step. Now we have to unlock the bootloader installing a Recovery modified , which you can learn to do the following steps, and as I said, is made in seconds.

Traps G3 LG Lollipop

Once we have completed the process need, obviously, download a ROM based Lollipop and install it using the Recovery . From this thread HTCMania we can access all ROM’s out there and choose the one you like . I, in my case, I installed the ROM AndroidNow HD 5.0, although there are many others.

When you have selected and downloaded the ROM, move it to the external microSD card , turn off our terminal and we again turn left down the home button and the volume down. When LG letters appear, drop a second and we press the two buttons, and enter into the Recovery . We back up of our system , do the wipes ever ( system , data , dalvik cache and internal storage ) and then we go to “Install”, then “Install ZIP from SD card” and then select the ROM that we have downloaded, and voila! , Lollipop installed .

As you can see, the process is quite simple and, if we all steps with caution, should be no problem. As I always say in these situations, in Andro4all we are not responsible for any damage that may occur to your device, so be careful and do not hesitate to tell us what you thought it was.

Have you already installed in your device Lollipop? Tell us your experience
