The best apps of the week (LXXXIV) – Hypertext – Hypertext

Welcome to Sunday’s gathering with the best applications of the week for mobile favorite operating system of your choice, either Windows Phone, iOS or Android . The protagonist of this week in Hypertext has been the planet Pluto because of its new images and their larger than expected, although there have been hollow for nominations Emmy 2015. And now without further ado, on to the applications for this . week

Radio 3 (Android, iOS)

If there is a radio station that I recommend to all hours is Radio 3 : a station that supports independent artists and is dedicated exclusively to promorcionar music and culture. Therefore, to always carry in your pocket this great station you have two options: either have a podcast client as Pocket Casts , or use your official application. Although its interface needs some work perhaps, if all you’re looking for music and music till you drop, it is more than enough. And as it is free , you do not have to spend money to try it, which does not happen with Pocket Casts.

You can download Radio 3 for Android and iOS .

MyTube (Windows Phone)

 MyTube

Although their versions of Android and iOS is updated itself month and month too, we are still waiting for an official version for Windows Phone, a wait that stretches more and more and that makes us think and we will not see a never-version. Therefore, and to avoid losing the power of YouTube MyTube find a surrogate more than decent version. The price of € 0.99 , with MyTube have a client who does not lack anything: manage playlists, ability to subscribe and unsubscribe channels and many more options. If you have Windows Phone and want to use YouTube, is not only the best option, it is the only sensible option.

You can download MyTube the Windows Store .

Passes (Android)

 Passes

I spoke of Passes the other day to talk about applications I use on my Android smartphone, but considered it appropriate to talk about in this section too. Passes is, explaining in a few words, an appropriate substitute for PassWallet, the reference app to take our smarpthone our train tickets, airplane or movie tickets, among others. With an aesthetic Material Design, Passes fulfills its function excellently and without too many frills and excess options: do what you must do, period, and as it is free , you lose nothing by trying it.

You can download Passes the Play Store

FingerKey (IOS)

 FingerKey

In these times, any extra added measure of security to our devices is always welcome. In the case of iPhone and Mac, an incredibly powerful option is FingerKey , which allows us to connect both devices using Bluetooth LE and unlock your Mac with your iPhone, something that particularly interested the iPhone 5s and above due his TouchID. It also has an AES 256-bit encryption and its extension and Today widget in Notification Center, it will take very little to unlock it. FingerKey costs € 1.99 , a small price to pay to keep your Mac safe.

You can download FingerKey iTunes .

runtastic (Android, iOS, Windows Phone)

Summer is here, and many took advantage of this time to rest and free time to get in shape. There are many ways, but if you intend to monitor your time and leverage your smartphone for it, Runtastic is the best option available. Not only it is for the three major mobile operating systems but also, being the oldest of these applications, has many options for preparing our careers, whether short or intense or longer and sedate. Furthermore, it is free , but accounts with the possibility to buy a Pro version with more unlocked options.

You can download Runtastic Android , iOS and Windows Phone .
