Samsung confirms Android 4.4 devices will KitKat ... - tuexperto.com

 KitKat Android 44

Earlier this week we told you that Samsung USA had published the l ist of Samsung smartphones and tablets expected to upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat . However it was the North American division of the company, so it is not possible to know if Europe will be replicated to the same devices. Samsung Poland has brought us out of doubt by the public international models that have their share of KitKat in the coming months, so in this case it includes all Europe . The list has been published by a Polish blogger , which warns that not all devices listed have the latest version of Android directly, but some would first by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and later receive another update.

The main lack of this list and we did see on the American list is the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini are not included. But yes there are other models of the same generation as Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or even the Samsung Galaxy Grand , which has a rather modest technical profile. The Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S3 Mini are products that already have two years old, but given its popularity would be a detail that will be updated, even for the last time. However if the list ends up being short, users of these two models will remain stuck in Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

 Samsung

Among the devices that do appear in the list we find the Samsung Galaxy S4 , which has already begun to upgrade in some markets, and models from the series: Galaxy Galaxy S4 and S4 Zoom Active. Samsung Galaxy Mega (5.8 and 6.3 inches) and Samsung Galaxy Express also appear. Within the series appear Note Galaxy Note 3 and tablets Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and 10.1 (both the model and the first edition of 2014). Finally also shown three models Galaxy Tab 3 , seven, eight and 10.1 inches respectively.

The list is virtually identical to that published Samsung USA , but with the difference that we mentioned the Galaxy S3. No clues on release dates, but we can expect delays quite long for less advanced models such as Galaxy Mega or Galaxy Grand . Normally updates arrive first at the more advanced models, so the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 being the first to test its share of Android 4.4 KitKat.

Among the novelties of this edition highlights the performance improvement called Svelte Project to get smoother operation even in terminals with little RAM. There are also slight changes in the interface-like icons in the status bar-white tone, Hangouts with unified SMS and direct access to the camera in the lock screen among others.
