Wozniak thinks Apple should launch a terminal-based ... - Engadget

Wozniak

Steve Wozniak is one of the living legends of technology, despite having left Apple almost three decades ago, is still one of the most respected voices in everything surrounding the company helped create.

In a recent statement to Wired, Wozniak has outlined a singular idea: that Apple should create an Android-based smartphone. The idea would probably sound crazy talk of any other, but out of the creator of the first Mac almost approaching a tangible possibility. Almost.

Nothing to keep Apple out of the Android market and a secondary market. We could compete really well. A People love the look, style and manufacture of what we do in our products compared to other products on Android. We could play both sides at the same time.

The truth is that Apple’s smartphone based on Android is not impossible: the license used by the operating system allows any manufacturer to adopt it and contribute their own developments. Amazon has done with its own fork tablets, and Apple could do the same.

Wozniak even suggests that that possibility can not be just an idea in your mind. Innovation is not something that has stopped in Apple, Wozniak said that seemed also to encourage other rumored developments as smart watch television or Company:

really great products come from secret developments. Put small teams of great people and do not mind what other people opine about what they do while they do it. The new product does not happen too often. You can give it a once in a decade.

A unique

statements of a singular man, no doubt. Do you think Apple smartphone based on Android be possible ? And if so, did you would buy?
