How to check if your Android suffers the dreaded security flaw – Clarín.com

The Israeli computer security firm, Check Point, yesterday put on high alert to 900 million users worldwide who have devices with the Android operating system.

Through this vulnerability called QuadRooter, a third party can have unlimited access to personal data, steal passwords that are typed using the keyboard, images gallery and track GPS.

the steps for check whether your phone is affected:

1. Download QuadRooter Scanner in the Google Play store.

2.Ingresar in the application from the cell you want to examine.

3. If the device is affected, the system will detect a hazard symbol. In addition, it indicates what specific vulnerabilities are.

At the moment, the user can not do anything to fix the error. Only hope that Qualcomm launches updates with the appropriate patches to correct the problem.
