Develop a 'tablet' Braille Android - Reuters

MADRID, December 23 (Portaltic / EP) –

The National Braille Press is finishing polish the B2G-20, the first ‘tablet’ Braille to fight for literacy of the blind. This project intended to help reduce unemployment and poverty , more intense in an area of ??minority population, according to the organization’s president, Brian A. MacDonald.

development team has already raised and spent a million dollars and now need another 200,000 to be able to bring the device to market, so they are considering launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise that amount by ‘crowdfounding’. The tablet would be priced below $ 2,500 per unit.

The organization is also completing the development of a ‘tablet’ that displays 3D graphics for the blind, but are exploring avenues for funding.
