The security flaw, Heartbleed not
has a simple solution. When Google announced that it had resolved the problem
on their main services also mentioned that Android had not been
affected, but there is a big exception. devices with Android 4.1.1
The good news is that Google has already sent the patch to its Android partners, the bad is that now we have to wait for their partners to implement it and after that phone do the necessary tests to finally kick the update. Android users know that this is a very slow process. We hope that, because of the sensitivity of the situation and the attention it has received, operator partners and hasten to do as soon as possible. Meanwhile
to see if your Android
danger the security company Lookout has released a free app
Heartbleed called Detector, which scans your device and tells you if
is risk. I have not encountered any device that does not report version
of vulnerable OpenSSL, however if it is not enabled (as seen in the
image), your device is not in danger.
At the moment there is not much you can
do if your phone or tablet are vulnerable, you can only wait
you get the update.
You can usually go to Settings> About> Updates
software. Remember that these steps vary depending on the device. Download the Heartbleed Detector here to see if your device is at risk.
