The control buttons may change in Android 5.0 - Android Help

Android 4.4

KitKat has not come up with a lot of news as far as interface is concerned. However, the big change in appearance would Android 5.0 , the new version of the operating system. In addition to some new features we’ve seen in some applications, such basic elements as Android control buttons would change.

And it would be something that would happen almost for the first time since the operating system was released. The three buttons have always been a differentiator in any Android smartphone or tablet. For many years there have been three, that of Home, Rewind and Menu. Over the years, that’s forgetting the menu, which was composed almost options in each application, and use a key step that allowed view all open applications, and with that it was very easy to change application very quickly.

Google Icons

However, it seems that these buttons may also be in its last days. Have leaked some screenshots of what would Google Now, and the response to the command window “Ok Google” and shows three different control buttons, with respect to its design. The back button is on the left, but now is a simple arrow to the left, without further complications. On the right a button used to switch between tabs, it is same as there now, but with a change in design.

What I would change is the start button, now would appear to display the logo of Google, and we would probably allow even faster access to Google Now. It is possible that the new operating system is designed to reach a lot of modifications and among them would be a major change in the navigation system, turning the key Now Google Android. Yes, for now you can not say anything exhaustively, it seems also that these changes would apply Edition and the Google Nexus. Do not know if it’s a change that also apply to the other Android smartphones. Along with this, come the power to use “Ok, Google” being in any major Android application not only in the main window. However, to confirm these rumors still have to wait at least until it officially launches Android 5.0
