Google working on its own Android AirDrop: reports – CNET Spanish

The project would bring the key Copresence name and allow sharing of files and messages between devices, even if they are on different platforms.

Google is working on a new feature for Android devices would enable a new way to share files, messages, addresses, and music. The project, reports Android Police, carries the codename Copresence.

According to the same report, Copresence would be kind of AirDrop, a functionality that allows you to send files between Apple devices, but also include NFC and would not necessarily be done through the connection to the same Wi-Fi network.
