Google announces how to run Android apps in Chrome – unocero

 arcwelder00

Last year Google announced I had a system to allow Android apps on Chrome corriesen. The only drawback is that only the creators of “important” apps could do this. For reasons that are not clear, Google sought to offer end users the most important Android apps, perhaps the best regardless of all other developers. And yes, there were those who sought to hack it so that everyone could access this curious privilege. The problem is if it was worth just get into this hack.

Now Google seems to have decided to open the case to everyone and anyone can now port to Android apps Chrome using the “App Runtime for Chrome Welder – ARC Welder” , which appears to be a pun. ARC Welder uses a Dalvik virtual machine to run Android code with Chrome latter acting as host, either the browser or Chrome OS.

You can try. We need to open ARC Welder paste the app for Android (APK), select some options and give you click the button “release” (launch). It seems that also can publish the app in the Chrome Web Store. It is not certain that works for all Android apps, but it is easy to know: you have to experience. What this means is that in the background can now run Android apps in Chrome and Chrome OS, this is a browser that may be running under Mac OS X or Windows. Google looks Clearly this your Chrome platform is a better alternative to OS X or Windows
