MEXICO CITY (CNNExpansión) – The messaging application WhatsApp for Android is renewed and now its design, colors and even inside the chats are different.
This new version, 2.12.34 is now available on the website of whatspp.com/android, although the company has not announced formally.
CNNExpansión tested the changes in this application and the like shown below.
1. The basis of design
To change your design WhatsApp adopted the so-called Material Design and material design developed by the company Google, according to El Pais.
“(The Design Material) summarizes the classical principles of good design to innovation and the ability of technology and science,” says Google on your page Internet.

2. The colors

3. Multimedia icons
Before pictures of your contacts as well as icons to share photos and videos, have square shapes, are now round, because the new design favors the latter forms.
4. The image of the contacts
The new WhatsApp gives more weight to the images. To see the profile of your contacts, the image of them occupies more than half of the screen and have great quality or definition.
5. Within chats
The voicemail icon is larger to differentiate it from the camera that lets you record video.
