The best apps of the week (LXX): Android, iOS and … – Hypertext

Welcome Sunday over the collection with the best apps of the week for mobile favorite operating system of your choice, either Android, iOS or Windows Phone . This highlights Hypertextual week has been a great and comprehensive guide to the Bloodborne multiplayer, a good summary of the first season of Better Call Saul and the first in a series of articles talking about women scientists who made history in science . And now without further ado, on to the applications for this week.

UC Browser (Windows Phone, Android, iOS)

A browser is always a difficult choice when developing an application, especially because large companies have their own: Android has Chrome, Windows Phone has Internet Explorer and Safari is iOS. However, it is always interesting to see very valid alternative to UC Browser , which has attributes like a very decent browsing speed, clear and simple menus, and the ability to add add- ons to supplement it further and make a single browser UC Browser. Furthermore, to be free , is a simple matter of downloading and test if it meets your needs.

You can download UC Browser for Android , iOS and Windows Phone .

Aeries (Windows Phone)

 Aeries

In this section we mentioned unofficial Twitter clients for Windows Phone than we can remember and yet today we will mention a new one. It is Aeries , a customer who until recently was in beta and, despite his youth, has managed to get in the Top 3 of unofficial clients in Windows Phone, with Tweet it ! and Tweetium. Priced at € 2.49 , you take a client with a clear interface, various configuration menus, notifications, integration with Metrotube and Pocket … obviously has its flaws, but for now has more Aeries positive than negative things, and that’s saying a lot for a relatively new application.

You can download Aeries in the Windows Store .

Moonshine (Android)

Moonshine

Personally, I’m not a fan of icon packages you can download from Google Play. I like to keep my smartphone as simple as possible and the icons that come standard. Moonshine is the first icon pack that has made me change this stance, and that alone is worth its recommendation. Installation is absurdly simple: download, you agree to the application and apply the icon pack depending on the launcher you are using (usually must be launcher third-party ). Your icons, although different from stock Android, are very minimalist and do not draw attention too, as Moonshine is free , is perfect for those who do not want to spend money on making your smartphone slightly different.

You can download Moonshine in the Play Store

Periscope (iOS)

 Periscope

The application of fashion. For better or worse, the application created by Twitter for live streaming has caused anger and, despite his youth, is sweeping downloads. The simplicity of Periscope when you use it also helps a lot: just press a button and you are relaying for anyone who wants to see you, something that I still strange but interesting at the same time. Unfortunately, it is not yet available for Android and Windows Phone, but it seems that Android is coming soon so free , like its counterpart in iOS.

You can download Periscope iTunes .

Telegram (Android, iOS, Windows Phone)

 Telegram

I know that this latter application is not it an amazing discovery because many of you have heard of Telegram . However, with its last settings is unfair that service as excellent messaging not receive the same media attention WhatsApp. It is free just like WhatsApp , has stickers, has interfaces perfectly adapted to the demands of each operating system, excellent performance, previews sample of tweets and videos on YouTube, has clients for desktop operating systems … It has everything, or at least has more than the other competitors, and anyone willing to listen strongly recommend using it. You will not regret it.

You can download Telegram Android , iOS and Windows Phone .
