Android N: 7 functions you expect to see – CNET in Spanish

In March, Google gave a preview of its next operating system, Android N. While the final version of the OS is not available until the summer, the company announced more features Android N, as well as some initiatives in its developer conference in May.

currently, Android is the most popular mobile operating system in the world. In addition to security updates and new Emoji , N Assistant integrate interactive service and better battery life. For now, we have been able to give a taste of this new flavor of Android as they arrive more functions. Let’s look at the features that Google has revealed.

Google Assistant

The new Assistant software allows you to have a more natural dialogue with your Android device to perform tasks like looking for a restaurant and make reservations through OpenTable.

Instant Apps

Instant Apps will launch with Android N but also be available for phones running operating systems earlier versions such as Android Jelly Bean. Instant Apps allows you to access and use certain apps without having to download and install these applications. This is especially useful for transactions through mobile payment systems in which you can pay with Android Pay instead of the system that the app wants you to use.

Multi Window

View two apps at the same time will become a standard practice in Android phones and tablets. With the multi-window feature, you can see my split screen. This feature has been available on the Samsung and LG phones for a few years, and will now be available in many more Android devices. It is also quite similar to what they can do the Apple iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4 and iPad Pro, thanks to the latest version of the mobile operating system from Apple, iOS 9.

Google

Google is also adding the multiventana option to apps that play video, as we have seen in the iPad Air. that means you can watch a YouTube video while reading the tweets of Twitter, or you can check your email while you see a movie on Google Play.

answer within notification

Google now lets you respond to text messages from the notification window, a function that adopted watches with Android Wear. when you receive a new message, a small alert appears at the top of the window. you can write your answer from there and return to what you were doing previously. iOS has had a similar function for a while now, so it’s good to see on Android now.

Mounds notifications

If your notification menu is very saturated and full of alerts, this feature can help. Developers can join your app notifications. You will see groups of notifications from each app on your menu, and you can play that folder to expand it and see each individual alert.

iOS also has something like this in your notification menu you have to manually open, so is a welcome addition to Android.

More Doze

Android 6.0 Marshmallow was the first to receive Doze, a configuration for saving battery that disables the operating deeply. The function is activated when your phone is not in use or at rest. Now, Doze on the Go does the same, except that your phone can be moving (eg in your pocket, doing nothing). Google is also working on a project called Svelte, which seeks to reduce the amount of memory needed to run Android. The goal is to bring the most recent to more and more devices, especially low-end versions.

Night Mode

Much like the Night Shift Apple function Night Mode seeks to reduce eyestrain seeing very bright displays at night. The configuration gives a yellowish tint to the screen, which supposedly will accelerate less at night than blue dye. You can also adjust the brightness and use a sepia tint.

Android … Nutella?

Although we have seen many previous, still do not know everything that will come in the final version of the operating system. We do not know what number will be (although there are strong signals that it will be 7.0) nor the final name is known. Google has launched a call for all their fans to participate in the christening next flavor of Android.
