Android Apps and Google Play reach more computers with … – CNET in Spanish

The Android apps are already available for the Acer R11 and Chromebook Pixel, plus the Asus Chromebook Flip already takes several weeks enjoying this novelty.

These are the first computers that can run the Google Play store to extend the number of apps and programs that users can normally enjoy from the Chrome Store. However, although this feature brings the entire catalog of apps for Android from Google Play, not all apps are compatible with computers.

The compatibility of Google Play and Android apps for Chromebooks computers are available on the developer channel of Chrome OS, but it is expected that in the coming months the feature is enabled in the stable version of Chrome OS.
