Moto Z Play starts receiving Android Nougat in Mexico – unocero

After months of waiting and constant rumours that proved to be a new delay in the software update for some Motorola equipment, the owners of a team Moto Z Play in Mexico can now update your device to version 7.0 of Android dubbed as Nougat.

Yes, maybe later arrives that early, but it is always good news to receive a software update for our device. The bad news is that this update is only available to teams that come delivered from the factory, that is to say, those purchased from the Motorola web or purchased through digital stores such as Amazon or Free Market, always and when these are not acquired through a telephone operator in any country.

In the case of Mexico, AT&T has confirmed that the update for the Moto Z Play purchased with this operator will begin to unfold from the third week of February, so you won’t have to wait a long time for us to update our device.

on the other hand Movistar, the second largest operator that sells this computer locked, don’t know when it will start to release the update to the Moto Z Play, we just mentioned that we are pending notification.

The software updates come to the phones sold by operators time after because of that companies need to ensure that the update does not negatively affect your network, and for that reason sometimes take up to months to release the update, or simply never make it.

Android Nougat 7.0 comes with significant performance improvements and optimization, but also includes new options such as: multi-window, new menu of quick settings and notifications, quick reply from the same notification, 72 new emojis and optimization for DayDream (platform of Virtual Reality of Google)

So if you want to install the new update, just wait for the notification arrives with the installation file via OTA (On The Air) whose weight is 1121.2 MB so we recommend you update when you have access to a Wifi network.
