No longer be available Google Now Launcher for Android – unocero

Google has decided to stop distributing their Google Now Launcher in the Google Play Store. This decision has been taken by the company after realizing that having two applications to perform tasks that are very similar it didn’t make sense.

in addition to this application, Google also has the Search Launcher, another application with similar characteristics. This latest comes built into the new Google Pixel the company of Mountain View.

In an email to the manufacturers of Android devices, Google has made public this news. The company specifies the date output from the virtual store of applications of this utility for phones with the device of the giant computer.

The date of final departure of the Google Now Launcher will be the march 1, 2017. From then on, the brands of smartphones will no longer be able to include this feature in their newer models; in its place will be able to pre-install the new Google Search in order to comply with the qualities of the container application’s mobile apps.

however, Google will continue to provide updates for this application, because they have understood that there are still many devices which have it installed. The company announced that users will be able to continue using this app, however, in the upcoming updates there will be no significant changes.

This move of Google was something that came to cook for some time due to the departure of the new Pixel and some application updated and renovated for your devices.
