KitKat Android 4.4.2 comes to Sony Xperia M2 | Mobility – abcdesevilla.es

Sony has announced that its terminals Xperia M2 are already receiving OS upgrade to Android 4.4.2 KitKat . The Xperia M2 was launched in June this year, but Sony decided to market the version of Android Jelly Bean, though KitKat and had since October last year on the market.

Two months after the launch, Sony has launched the improved operating system and is showing available, now only D2303 models . Users with Sony Xperia M2 models D2305 and D2306 variants will have to wait a few days to receive your upgrade to KitKat. This update is coming gradually to all users via OTA and it is advisable to be connected to a Wi-Fi not to spend data from our telemarketer.

The update will grant users that their mobile consume less battery and improving their speed to interact with the smartphone. In addition, Sony has added new features to move applications to the SD card and they do not occupy space in the terminal.

Another novelty is that it improves various applications such as Walkman, Sony Select, TrackID, Smart Connect, and posts, Album and Movie . Finally, it also adds the STAMINA mode to get more autonomy in the terminal. Of course, they also benefit from all the changes, bug fixes and updates that Google has implemented in the new version of the operating system.
