Android Lollipop has damaged our Nexus 7: users – CNET in Spanish

Several Twitter users report on forums and their tablet Google Nexus 7 have stopped working after upgrading to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Several users of the Nexus 7 tablet (2013 and 2012) are finding a nasty surprise when you upgrade your device to Android Lollipop: upgrading to the new operating system ruining their tablets.

The main problem is users are reporting that the device starts with the logo of Google, but does not follow the procedure is started and locked. Multiple users have been reporting this problem and expressing frustration through a hashtag on Twitter (# Nexus7bricked), as in the Nexus forums.

At the moment, it seems the only solution they have found some users has been to replace the motherboard of the Nexus 7, something a little risky for most users. However, if you encounter this problem and bought the Nexus 7 directly from Google, you can contact them because they usually replace the devices affected by this kind of updates, even when the device is has expired warranty.
