It has cost, but in the end there are clear signs that Lollipop really begins to spread among Android devices. And it was time. The latest update of Google statistics show that Lollipop is now 9.7% of Android devices installed, almost double compared to just a month ago.

Lollipop officially arrived as the first OTA update Nexus smartphones November 12 last year. Now is at 9.7% of Android devices.

KitKat remains the version currently installed on 39.8% of devices, followed by three versions of Jelly Bean, 39.2% of teams . Not that Lollipop has leveled precisely, but finally it seems that begins to spread thanks mainly to the arrival of the new high-end devices this year.

Comparisons iOS in this sense are always odious, but inevitable: iOS 8 came about two months before Lollipop (September 17, 2014), and is now 81% of iOS devices. [Via Google]
