It has been three months since it became known that Motorola was working on updating Android Moto X Lollipop for the first generation, same as the start was delayed because the company decided to wait for the release of Android 5.1. However, so far only confirmed his arrival in Brazil.

The latest information regarding updating the Moto X 2013 comes from David Schuster, the manager in charge responsible for keeping the updates afloat by part of Motorola, sharing from your account through Google +

It says understand the anger of the computer users, but specifies that the delay was due to a problem with “the lack of support with one of our partners”, although they are ready to begin testing Android 5.1 in Latin America and the United States in “a few weeks”.

It is not known if the “partner” Motorola is one of the operators though updates most of the time lag for its guilt or if it refers to a very specific one, as the chipmaker, Qualcomm.

Still, this suggests that the update will take a bit longer than expected, since such tests are conducted with a select number of users before carrying Android 5.1 stably to all terminals
