Although Google began deploying the updates to Android 4.4 for your Nexus device family in the past few days, now there is a more direct method for those who do not yet have this capability.
is the availability of factory images of the new version of Android for Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013, WiFi and mobile) and Nexus 10, which any user can download and install on your device.
All of these devices have labeled the compilation KRT16O , something newer than KRT16M available in the Nexus 5. An important difference is the fact that for now the application launcher Nexus 5 is still exclusive to this platform now.
So if you rely on any of these devices and want to update to Android 4.4 without waiting KitKat OTA updates , and you can do so by these new factory images.
