Google being left behind after Apple gave us opportunity to us and to other international press to try the Apple Watch. According to an exclusive TheVerge, the roadmap Android Wear figure bracket for connection via WiFi, so can receive notifications if you miss the bluetooth coverage to be away from your smartphone (something that happens to me daily with the Pebble). Most Android Wear have WiFi built thanks to its SoC, so a simple upgrade would enable this new capability.

In addition to WiFi support, there will be at least two minor updates more.

  • Control gesture interface : users can by a quick flick of the wrist, moving from a notification or card . of Google Now to another, instead of needing your other hand to slide on the screen

  • The UI redesign : making it easier to access the applications installed and the quick contact menu. Today it is cumbersome since you have to navigate through multiple menus (this is my least favorite of the Android Wear I’ve tried).

It does not seem appropriate Android Wear compare with the Apple Watch, because Android users only have Android Wear and iPhone users only Apple Watch, but I find it interesting that Android Wear adopt features of Apple Watch and vice versa. That is achieved parity between what the two operating systems smart watches and to differentiate ecosystem of applications, form and philosophy of doing things and watches itself.
