This would be the first BlackBerry smartphone with Android – RPP News

BlackBerry wants to occupy leadership positions in the world of smartphones, so a new mobile team ready to come equipped with the operating system Android . A video posted on YouTube by a Brazilian channel called Dudu Rocha Tec proves it.

According to the website CrackBerry in the video released by the Brazilian channel the same BlackBerry device is shown that the Twitter userevleaks have brought to light through images.

According to the leaks, the device shall be the Passport Silver Edition (formerly known by its code name Oslo) and so can be seen in the clip, this runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is presumed that goes on sale in November.

The youtube clip is also possible to see that the Passport Silver Edition will have a Snapdragon 400 processor, 3GB RAM and at least 32GB of internal storage memory, as well as their traditional physical keyboard.

To date BlackBerry has not come to confirm these rumors and just wait to see if this new Android device will be marketed worldwide.
