A split-screen multitasking, the latest venture of Android – BBC World

Today the competition is great among the giants of mobile phones constantly looking for ways to dominate the market.

Now Google has announced new features added to the Android operating system (OS), among which one improved multitasking split screen and notification controls .

An early version the new operating system, known for now as Android N , was made available to application developers so they can test it.

Google said had launched the beta version of the software earlier than usual so that device manufacturers can get before the final version.

for now less than 3% of Android phones run on the latest operating system Marshmallow .
