it works similarly to the product of payments Apple, cards has been available in the UK since July 2015, but has remained limited to devices manufactured Apple, the main competitor to Google.

Android Pay was released in the US in September, and is “likely” that the UK is its second largest market, has said a spokeswoman for Google.

Google has confirmed that it has reached an agreement with Visa and MasterCard, as well as with the Bank of Scotland, First Direct, Halifax, HSBC, Lloyds Bank , M & amp; S Bank, MBNA and Nationwide before launch.

The service was embroiled in a battle with the payment service giant Samsung Electronics, which also works on Android phones, but only those manufactured by them themselves.

Samsung had previously confirmed that its offer would reach British soil in 2016.
