Adding sites to your ‘timeline’ of Google Maps in Android – CNET in Spanish

The Timeline feature in Google Maps is relatively accurate when recalling the sites where you’ve been or visited. This feature is particularly useful if, for example, you missed something in your path, such as a credit card, an identification or even your wallet.

Google Maps already has a solution to edit the sites that appear so wrong in your Timeline (businesses that are very close together as they often cause this confusion) and can now add places that do not appear flat. First, you’ll need to upgrade to Maps 9.2 to access the function.

The update is coming to Android users through Google Play, but is also available in APKMirror. The cryptographic signature on the APK ensures that the file is genuine and replace any existing copy of Google Maps on your device

Now, after you’ve updated.

Step 1: Open the menu within Google Maps and select Timeline

Step 2. Go to the day you want to edit; there, you can touch a place in your timeline where a location is missing, which will reveal a button to add a place (add a place) you can also open the menu and choose add a place

Step 3:.. Search for the place you want to add and set the time and date when you were there.

Another small update and that has to do with the Timeline is that now you can match photos uploaded by other users along with their respective reviews. This solves the problem of finding a photo of a review in particular, and is easier to see where you’ve taken a picture.
