Some time ago rumors that point to a total assault on Google to virtual reality, going far beyond Cardboard, and has even been speculated about the possibility that we could hear see a version of Android designed specifically for VR. The new developer preview of Android N gives us clues that the first steps of Android virtual reality could begin sooner than we imagined, particularly with the next version of the operating system of Google.

The latest version of the preview of Android N includes new emoji, support for Vulkan and change the user interface, but among all these changes can also find some direct references to virtual reality. Specifically, a section called “VR Helper” whose name does not leave much to the imagination. That section is in Settings – & gt; Applications – & gt; Configuring Applications – & gt; Special access – & gt; Helper VR Services.
