Android beta N venturing beyond Nexus; is already … – CNET in Spanish

The latest version of Android, Android 7.0, was released to the family of Nexus devices in March. Starting today (Thursday), the mobile operating system is now available for the Xperia Z3.

The phone from Sony is the first outside the Nexus line to receive Android N, and Sony explains that this availability is made possible for developers prepare their applications for the new operating system, but the curious eyes too you could see benefit.

To download Android N in a Xperia Z3, you must first be sure that the Z3 is the version D6603 or D6653, as these are the only ones compatible. Sony details (in English) instructions to proceed with the installation.

While the Xperia Z3 is not the most popular phone on the market, the availability of Android N for the Z3 means that Google is working with manufacturers to make available its latest mobile platform in different models cell.

The only official Android N regarding its functions, which describe the link. What is unknown is the name of the candy to appoint Android N. Nor do we know the date when Google will release to the public the operating system.
