Marriages between companies

totally different seems to be catching on. If last week you spoke of possible agreement between Samsung and Tesla today I’ll give you the luxury of writing about the rapprochement between McLaren and Android, an association that falls sure more than one .

multimedia systems of latest vehicles that have been released are still crude and ugly , they need to be attractive, have imagination and above all, be intuitive without forgetting to be simple, but complete. At the end of the day, we should stop paying attention to the road to change a song or call contact our agenda. Features like app stores, internet, cloud services or smartphone synchronization with pointers and not surprising. In fact when we buy a car we should demand that has at least one of these features.

With the arrival of iOS in the Car by Apple and HERE Auto Hand Nokia mobile manufacturers or operating systems to these terminals want to address an industry that seems very slow evolving , or at least not as fast as we would like.

McLaren and Android

in this turning point arrives Android , a free operating system would not be limited to the possession of a mobile and count only the guarantee of Google and its numerous applications, both own as compatible. McLaren and Android have teamed up to renovate the IRIS interface, a device which may at the British factory cars from next year.

This particular movement responds to a basic need with all manufacturers offer a user experience as good as we have now in the palm of your hand . And for this task is better to have the best to start from scratch.

have joined forces to benefit the user as soon as possible, trying to anticipate the final release of iOS in The Car and Auto by HERE. IRIS The new interface is most similar to having a tablet thought and designed to the car but we need to know the other functions and features. That itself is a very promising and safe progress that many manufacturers are already looking with different eyes such marriages.

The fact that McLaren and Android have joined forces to improve the browsing experience of your entertainment system IRIS can be a change in approach to the other companies. Although many have made great economic efforts and above all, many years, to create their own systems, if Audi or BMW, there are many companies that do not have this capacity and look favorably on such advances. This is where the interfaces as IRIS.
