Nokia smartphones have thought about Android before ... - Engadget

Nokia have been experiencing

create them to run Android smartphones, according to a report by The Verge, before the mobile area was acquired by Microsoft. Meanwhile, the Redmond company would have created prototypes for a “Surface Phone” as a plan B if Nokia not going well with Windows Phone.

However, Nokia is the company that currently dominates the market for Windows Phone, with 80% market share. While other manufacturers offer devices with this operating system, none is so committed to the same as Nokia. The idea that the Finnish company experienced Android then posed a threat to Microsoft. What if Nokia changed his mind and left Windows Phone?

According to The Verge, Nokia plans to launch low-end computers with Android in 2014, and also create a high-end operating system from Google. Microsoft Buying these projects means that probably will not see the light, nor the Surface Phone will not prototype stage.
