Again with dual portable Windows-Android again - Engadget

Windows Android tablet

With three days to officially start up CES 2014, there is a tendency that some are beginning to glimpse. This will be the year of dual PC, double Windows and Android operating system.

Something we already know

devices like the TIVA Q Samsung: a Windows 8 based operating system on which virtualizes a full Android specifically designed and optimized for platform. There are rumors that other manufacturers will launch their dual teams with a similar Samsung technology, allowing both platforms have applications sharing the Windows desktop.

recent years has considered this possibility with several manufacturers, including ASUS or Lenovo, but the idea has never finished jell on the market. According to The Verge Intel is behind this new functionality which aims to agree to several companies, and The Times called it PC Plus . Details promise latter be unveiled these days Las Vegas .

Although the idea of ??combining the two systems in one does not look bad, keep in mind that virtually everything we do in Android can do in Windows , either through the browser or application specific. Windows is a more powerful and more likely that larger system Android, which encompasses all possibilities except perhaps some casual game (Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, etc..) And little else . Also, one of the great strengths of smartphones is the localized use and location dependent itself (Foursquare, Maps) to lose consciousness on a Windows (desktop or laptop) computer without Internet connectivity.

few days will leave doubts. Meanwhile, what uses you would give to a Windows laptop with this dual system – Android
