The PC industry is not going so well. Sales have fallen sharply despite the efforts of the industry to offer convertible touch screen devices. Given that Intel is behind the idea of ??promoting computers running Windows and Android, the specializing published The Verge technology.

The chipmaker is working with PC makers in a number of new devices that could be announced at the CES technology fair to be held in Las Vegas.

Internally known as “Dual OS” idea of ??Intel is that Android could run within Windows using virtualization techniques, so you might have Android and Windows applications side by side without rebooting the computer.

If that idea sounds familiar, it might be because in June, Samsung announced the Ativ Q, a hybrid Windows 8 laptop that could launch a full-screen virtualized instance of Android application by pressing the home screen. Coincidence or not, the name of the application was dual OS. Asus also seems to be building a dual OS computer: the name appeared in an FCC filing for a new tablet, which the company also seems to be joking in a recent YouTube video

.

For Intel, the idea seems an obvious victory. Intel already has been working hard to port and optimize Android for their own x86 processors, and your design chip tablet Bay Trail to work well with any operating system. If Intel has discovered a quick and convenient way to run Android apps in Windows, PC makers can create a unique tablet design that offers customers the benefits of both platforms, and Intel is uniquely positioned results as company providing a processor that can do the heavy lifting.
