Created five years ago to position itself as a platform for mobile phones, Android was able to adapt over time and entered the tablet segment, pioneered by Apple with the iPad in 2010. Now, Google seeks to bring its mobile operating system for a new and challenging terrain: cars

Thus, the company launched the Open Automotive Alliance, an initiative that brings together automakers like Audi, GM, Honda and Hyundai with Google and chip maker Nvidia to develop a vehicle entertainment system based on Android.
