LAS VEGAS (AFP) – The Android software created by Google is expanding into a new generation of smart TVs, after leading the market portable devices.

Parallel to the launch of new televisions super high definition (UHD or 4K) at the International CES 2015 electronics, taking place this week in Las Vegas, it was learned that Android will be the brain of a series of television models of large manufacturers.

“All our televisions 2015 will operate with the new Android TV platform,” said chief operating officer of Sony Electronics, Mike Fasulo, at CES, while exhibiting new products.

“Android is a system widely accepted in the mobile space, you can enjoy content on your smart phone and tablet on TV, no problem”.

The Sony televisions operated allow access Android games, applications and other digital content in the online store Google Play, and viewers can control the television using the smart watch Japanese consumer electronics giant.
